Applications for higher education scholarships for 2018-2019 will open at the end of March 2018.
Students in the final year of high school in the Yonne and Haut-Rhin departments who wish to apply for a François Schneider Foundation scholarship must collect an application form from the secretary’s office in their school and then return it, duly completed, to the principal. (the form will be available in schools by the end of March 2018)
The scholarships will be granted, after consultation with the Principal of the school, followed by the selection committee, by the Board of Directors of the François Schneider Foundation, at the end of September 2018.
Please note: the cut-off point for submission of applications is 1 June 2018.
To apply for a scholarship, students must:
- Have parents who have lived in the Yonne or Haut-Rhin department for at least 6 years;
- Be in the final year of secondary school in the year of the application, and provide proof, when the time comes, that they have passed the baccalaureate;
- Be experiencing financial hardship that hinders their plans to continue their studies;
- Attend a state school or under-contract private school (general, vocational or technical “lycée” in the Yonne or Haut-Rhin department.
