Arche de Miller-Urey (Miller-Urey’s Ark) aims to reproduce the elementary conditions, before the event of creation, in a vast aquarium where there is water containing all the molecules necessary for the appearance of life.
The spectator begins to conceive the impossible.
Arche de Miller-Urey
Hicham Berrada
Hicham Berrada’s work embraces two implicit foundations of our relationship to the world: nature governs us and we are separated from it. It is from this antagonism that the work is constructed, as a means of reconciling these tendencies, of reflecting on our modes of action and perception as regards it: nature, an uncreated raw material.
